Entriken, PA – Everyone is welcome to spend a day of creativity and art appreciation at the Fifth Annual “Raystown Art Open”. The event is held at the Lake Raystown Resort’s Conference Center from 1:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2015. Artists of all mediums will display their work free of charge during the FREE PUBLIC Art Exhibition. In addition to the free publlic art exhibition; there will be a juried competition, People Choice Award, a student division, demonstrations and lessons from local artists, live music, dinner, and more.
Raystown Art Open activities will include the following classes and more: painting in water color & pen with June Dettenrieder of "The Unexpected Graphics”, an artist workshop held by Locality Gallery of Bedford, Jewelry Making with Teri Smith of Barron Hill Jewelry of Huntingdon, and a photography class by Brandon Hirt. The classes are FREE and created for the public to attend to learn more about different mediums and artistic techniques first hand. All skill levels are welcome to participate.
